KS2 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Huddersfield Location: Huddersfield Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (Temporary) Are you passionate about supporting children in Key Stage 2? About the Role as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant: As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting pupils in Years 3 to 6, both inside and outside the classroom. Your role will include: Providing tailored support to small groups and individual pupils Supporting pupils with English, Maths, and other core subjects Assisting with behaviour management and classroom routines Delivering engaging learning interventions under the guidance of the class teacher Helping to create a stimulating learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience working with KS2 children (in a school or similar setting) A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or similar) Why Work with Engage Education?
