Learning Support Assistant / Pastoral Support Salary: £13 - £18 per hour / Ranging from £18,000 - £30,000 per annum. Location: We are recruiting in several FE locations across the North. Day-to-Day of the role: Provide dedicated support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they can access and engage with the curriculum effectively. Assist in the development and delivery of personalised support plans, working closely with teaching staff and the pastoral team. Support students' emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and social development through one-to-one and small group interventions. Requirements: Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Ideally a relevant qualifications in education, support work, or youth work (e.g. Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, Youth Work, or equivalent).
