Your training in role-play, improvisation, non-verbal communication, and emotional awareness makes you an ideal fit for working with students with additional needs such as: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) And other complex learning needs Your ability to adapt, engage, and build rapport helps children connect, communicate, and feel safe — essential ingredients for their learning and development. About the Role In this role, you'll be part of a dedicated school community, supporting students in both their academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: Support children in achieving their learning and behaviour targets Assist with daily classroom routines and activities Supervise and provide emotional support when needed Help maintain structure and consistency in the school day Use your creativity to engage students through expressive, fun, and interactive approaches No prior school experience is required — just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the right personality to connect with children. What We’re Looking For A background in acting, drama, theatre, or performing arts A calm, patient, and proactive approach Strong interpersonal and communication skills A genuine passion for helping children thrive Previous experience working with children is helpful but not essential Why Work with Engage Education?
