Employability Tutors Merseyside £28,000 We’re looking for dedicated Employability Tutors to join an adult education team in Merseyside. In this role, you’ll support learners from diverse backgrounds—many facing barriers to employment—by delivering engaging, tailored sessions that build confidence, workplace skills, and job readiness. You’ll work closely with learners to develop CVs, improve interview techniques, and gain essential qualifications, all while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will involve: Planning and delivering employability programmes tailored to adult learners Supporting learners with CV writing, interview preparation, job search strategies, and workplace skills Working collaboratively with support teams and external partners to ensure learner progression Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Experience delivering employability or skills-based training to adults A teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards one Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage learners from diverse backgrounds Knowledge of current labour market trends and barriers to employment A commitment to safeguarding and promoting equality and diversity Reed Further Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment by undergoing a 2 year’ employment check and a DBS Application, completing mandatory training within 6 weeks of your first assignment and annually thereafter.
