Construction Lecturer Annual Salary: £28,244 - £40,113 Location: Surrey Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic T Level Construction Lecturer to join our team at a great college. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact our students' educational journey in the Construction department, particularly focusing on Civil Engineering and Surveying. Day-to-day of the role of a Construction lecturer: Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Levels 3-4 Construction courses. Act as a personal tutor, promoting attendance and supporting students' academic and personal development. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development, and review activities within the Construction department. Potentially lead one or more T Level programmes as Course Leader. Drive continuous improvement within the College to ensure the highest levels of educational standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must possess a full teaching qualification or be currently working towards one. A degree in Civil Engineering. Relevant industry experience or qualifications in Civil Engineering and Surveying. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Desirable: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. Desirable: Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance or willingness to update to new standards if holding old qualifications (e.g., A1 or V1).
