Electrical Installation Lecturer Job Type: Part-time Location: Kent Salary: £35-£45 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications) We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our educational team. This role involves teaching the City & Guilds curriculum Levels 1 to 3 to apprentices, providing them with the knowledge and skills required for a successful career in electrical installation. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and informative lectures on electrical installation to apprentices. Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards. Assess and evaluate apprentices' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide guidance and support to apprentices, helping them to achieve their learning objectives. Maintain up-to-date records of apprentices' attendance, grades, and progress. Stay current with the latest developments in electrical installation and teaching methods. Required Skills & Qualifications: A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation or a related Electrical field. A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to work towards one. Proven experience in teaching electrical installation or related subjects. Strong understanding of the City & Guilds curriculum for Levels 1 to 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate learners.
