English Lecturer Annual Salary: £39,458 - £45,515 Location: Hampshire Job Type: Full-time We are seeking an English Lecturer to join our Maths & English Department. This role involves delivering inclusive, responsive, and innovative teaching and learning on a range of English programmes. The ideal candidate will strive to produce outstanding teaching and learning at all times to ensure that all learners succeed in their chosen programmes. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and effective English lessons as part of our curriculum, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning is maintained. Contribute to the achievement of the college’s Strategic Plan, including the integration of digital skills, personal and professional development, and leading initiatives like low carbon future developments. Work closely with employers and businesses to set the skills agenda and ensure the delivery of high-quality T levels with outstanding business engagement. Support the expansion of higher-level provision and actively participate in the recruitment and marketing objectives of the department. Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest teaching practices and methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an English Lecturer or a similar teaching role within higher education. Strong commitment to producing exceptional teaching and learning outcomes. Ability to innovate and integrate new teaching methods and technologies into the curriculum.
