Senior Technician

Maintenance of Electronic Security Equipment; Regular communication and development of a good relationship with client; Attention to detail on all aspects of relevant responsibilities Adhering to the Agreement between the client and the company; Adhering to Health and Safety regulations; Feedback to SLA manager; Problem Solving / Project Management of small projects; Management and Control of Documentation, including Registers, Overtime and Route Sheets; Submission of fault reports on the system; Revision of Work in Progress reports and the financial implications thereof; Available to be on standby if and when required;  Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:  Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. PSIRA certification; Must be AVIGILON certified; Must be Paradox alarm certified; Cathexis – certification; Computer literacy is a must; Network ability; Fault finding and trouble shooting ability is key; Sound knowledge/experience and understanding of Access Control and IP surveillance system; Relevant experience in similar position advantageous; Excellent security equipment installation skills; Excellent trouble shooting and fault finding skills; Excellent written & verbal communication and skills; A good working knowledge of MS Office; Valid Driver’s license; Proven track record in the Electronics Security Industry; Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;Â
