Fitment & Maintenance Centre Manager

A national leader in vehicle and building glass solutions is seeking an experienced Fitment & Maintenance Centre Manager to oversee operations at two key branches along the Garden Route, based in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-driven leader with strong technical expertise in glass replacement, safety system calibration, tinting, regassing, and workshop operations. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, bringing strong operational oversight, people management, and service excellence across both locations. Responsibilities: Manage the daily operations of fitment centres in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay Oversee staff and ensure service excellence across offerings such as glass replacement, calibration, regassing, and tinting Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards Utilise CRM and SAP systems for scheduling, stock control, and workflow management Lead and develop a high-performing team while resolving operational issues effectively Maintain high customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery and communication Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 Minimum 5 years of experience in a service centre, workshop, or fitment centre management role Proven hands-on experience in glass fitment Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in administrative processes, planning, and communication Technically inclined and comfortable with hands-on operations Proficiency in CRM platforms and SAP systems Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel between branches Based in or willing to relocate to Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, or surrounding areas (e.g. George) Benefits: Salary: negotiable.
