Technical Administrator

My longstanding client is seeking an Database IT administration professional, this position can be full or part time, this could be a good role for a graduate. As a Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for carefully collating and transferring data pursuant to the new ERP Configurator into an approved format (full training to be provided on software). This is a fast-moving environment where you need to be able to actively problem solve while working closely with key stakeholders. Its essential you can maintain a calm, methodical and consistent approach while ensuring delivery against timelines. You will also be required to provide updates on progress both weekly and monthly to your line manager. Essential Duties Essential duties will include, but not limited to the following:- Review and transfer of configurator data from existing platform to new platform. Creation of new data for entry into the configurator. Creation of SOPs to support configurator process. Perform such tasks as may be necessary for smooth transition and other key administrative tasks related to the configurator element of ERP project. Become Subject Matter Expert for Configurator usage Personal Characteristics Impeccable attention for detail and forward-thinking. Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Integrity, initiative and focus. Proactive, with good problem-solving skills Analytically thinking Right first time mentality. Team player, but able to work independently. Education & Experience Desirable Experience SQL Experience of systems implementation Coding experience Essential Experience of creating and implementing expressions and formulae Intermediate to advanced experience in MS Excel Experience in manipulating and understanding complex sets of data Meridian Business Support are acting as an agency for this client
