Job Description
Status: Permanent Working hours: 33.75 hours, Monday-Friday Working Days: 215 Days Salary: Full-time salary starting at £21,811.56 Humberston Park School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An Enhanced DBS certificate will be required (Child and Adult Workforce) as will ID documentation which shows the Right to Work in the UK. Do you have knowledge of non-verbal communication methods, and an enthusiasm for helping 16-19 students express themselves? Do you have a strong understanding of safeguarding principles, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour support, especially in high-needs, post-16 settings? Are you passionate about developing strong community bonds to enhance life outcomes? Are you interested in working collaboratively with educational staff, therapists, medical professionals, and families as part of a transdisciplinary team around young adults? Do you have a passion for using creative, multisensory, and practical activities to engage students in meaningful, relevant experiences?
