A rapidly expanding UK & International freight forwarding organisation is looking for an Internal Telesales professional to drive business growth by supporting the end-to-end sales process across both existing and new clients. This role plays a key part in fostering collaboration across all service linesFCL, LCL, Air, Road, and Projectsto ensure a smooth customer journey from onboarding through to aftersales support and ongoing engagement. The goal is to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and contribute to the achievement of sales targets. Outbound calling. ROLE: Freight Internal Telesales LOCATION: Oldham - Hybrid working offered BASIC SALARY: Negotiable - Above average for this role. BONUS: An excellent commission structure in place and also a performance bonus annually dependent on the company/staff performance with this position - also excellent career progression offered. BENEFITS: 25 days holiday, modern offices, dining and relaxation zones, etc. ROLE: To consistently achieve and exceed the required volume of telesales calls per week, securing a set number of high-quality appointments and identifying at least X new qualified target accounts each month to expand market reach. 40% of the role Create compelling, insight-rich storyboards on high-potential clients, clearly mapping decision-makers, business needs, and opportunity size, for effective handover to the BDM/External Sales team. Perform comprehensive client due diligence and research, ensuring 100% verification of credit viability and realistic conversion potential using multiple intelligence tools (websites, Experian, HMRC portals, social media, etc.). Accompany external sales colleagues on at least X client visits per quarter (post-probation), contributing to relationship-building, RFQ discussions, and deal progression. Maintain a 100% up-to-date CRM system with accurate opportunity data, timely follow-ups, and pipeline updates, while ensuring the entire sales team adheres to data entry SLAs. Lead the coordination of RFI/RFQ submissions, engaging internal/external stakeholders and ensuring 100% on-time, compliant delivery. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Looking for someone with experience in an outbound calling sales role, working with a freight forwarder, NVOCC or shipping line. The industry knowledge is paramount and a huge part of the role. Excellent communication skills and a real driven and determined person is required. Excellent high earning potential and career progression is offered.
