CNC Programmer

CNC Miller Programmer Location: Poole Salary: £19.00 £21.50 per hour Shift: Day shift A precision engineering company in Poole is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong programming and machining skills, particularly within the aerospace sector. Key Responsibilities: Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines with FANUC (or Siemens) controls Produce both online and offline CNC programs using CAD/CAM software Interpret technical drawings and specifications to machine prismatic components Self-inspect work to meet drawings and SPC requirements Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5C/5S standards Preferred Software Experience: Edgecam and SolidWorks experience is an advantage but not essential Requirements: Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience Fully competent in CNC milling operations and programming Experience with fourth and fifth axis machines is desirable Strong general engineering knowledge and precision-focused mindset Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and expectations To Apply: If youre a skilled CNC Miller with programming experience and are looking to take the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you.
