Assessor/Trainer in Early Years Location: Worksop Salary: £26,278 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week, all year round) Closing Date: 01/09/2025 Our clients main goal is to be an outstanding education and training provider, and this is at the heart of everything that they do. The Role As an Early Years and Education Assessor you will be the key partner to learners and placement providers with early years and education settings. You will work with learners to ensure they are supported to achieve their best, whilst developing long-term relationships with local employers that will increase placement opportunities they can offer to learners. You will visit learners in the employer settings assessing the competency and knowledge of learners. You will manage a range of early years learners and teaching assistants and review the progress of each learner in line with organisational expectations to ensure timely completion of qualifications. Skills and Qualifications You will have experience working within an early-years setting as an Early Years Educator. You will also have experience working as an assessor. You will be qualified at Level 3 or above and hold an Assessors award. You will be customer focused, organised, have a good understanding of the assessment process as well as having excellent IT skills and used a variety of IT platforms/systems. You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths or be willing to work towards. Department Info The role of Early Years and Education Assessor reports directly to the Curriculum Manager. You will work closely with Curriculum Team Leaders and Lecturers and also liaise with wider college teams in the course of your duties.
