Electrical Assembler

Job Title: Electrical Assembler Job Description This position is responsible for the assembly and wiring of standard and engineered control assemblies, as well as conducting full functional and electrical testing on products. Responsibilities Work from drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other verbal or written instructions to perform electrical and mechanical assembly. Determine wiring sequence, layout, and location. Perform testing to verify work. Ensure compliance with CSA, UL, CEC codes and company quality requirements. Provide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the work area. Actively support and participate in corporate initiatives and programs, including department meetings, safety programs, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality management programs. Perform other related duties as assigned within the facility. Comply with all safety requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and operating equipment in a safe and competent manner. Perform all job functions with adherence to the company''s Philosophy and Values, Code of Ethics, and safety and environmental standards. Essential Skills Experience with schematics, electrical wiring, and circuit boards. Skills in soldering, crimping, and panel wiring. Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent level of education from an accredited institution. At least one year of experience in manufacturing or assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in machining operations, particularly using milling and drilling equipment. Proficiency in assembly, electrical production, wiring, and electronic assembly. Ability to work with blueprints and electronics. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM with no regular overtime. The work station is set up for individual assembly with all tools provided. The site is free from loud smells or sounds, ensuring a comfortable work atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Perth, Ontario. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
