Standards and Risk Officer

Hire Resolves Client is urgently looking for a Standards and Risk Officer to be based at a mine in the North West! Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with Sections 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act. Facilitate issue-based risk assessments and integrate outcomes into baseline risk assessments. Assist in developing strategies to identify and evaluate operational risks and controls. Manage risk escalation, maintain risk registers, and align procedures with changes. Oversee change management and communicate updates to relevant departments. Requirements: Grade 12 National Diploma in Safety Management Blasting Certificate or Trade Certificate 3 years experience as Safety Officer or Risk Officer in a mining environment Valid Drivers License Benefits: Salary: R1,2m R1,4m CTC Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training & Development Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
