Job Description

Position Purpose: The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for systematically sourcing and conducting outreach to candidates, with the goal of generating a robust candidate pool and talent pipeline for both current and future job vacancies through the utilization of diverse sourcing methods, the analysis of external talent data, and the nurturing of relationships with prospective talent. Essential Job Functions: Listed are the essential duties and responsibilities that are required of this position. The candidate must be able to perform all the following duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation: · Performing market intelligence and research activities in various online research tools and recruiting souring databases, inclusive of social media, CRM, ATS, and other creative sources for identifying passive candidates (industry directories, state license lists, networking, and/or conducting searches within online tools, resume databases, direct sourcing, industry research, blogs, and associations). · Designs robust search strategies by constructing target candidate lists of companies, candidates, prospects and leads to develop robust talent pipelines. · Complete outreach via phone and/or email to high-potential prospects. · Provide progress reports on activity and market data regularly. · Cultivate relationships with high potential talent and prospects for immediate and longer-term opportunities; networking closely within the industry and functional areas to identify the right talent and companies. · Contact previously employed Petco partners to reengage employment with partnership with business line. · Collaborate with Recruiters and Business Leaders to execute candidate engagement. · Data entry into CRM and ATS required and manual tracking required to produce and monitor personal and team recruiting metrics to ensure efforts are meeting performance standards for timeliness, productivity, and quality. · Collect and frame-up external talent market data to enable partners to inform and influence decisions. · Collaborates on searches with other members of Talent Acquisition and ensures seamless communication regarding candidate activity. · Track candidate interactions through applicant tracking system and candidate CRM. · Provide progress updates to Recruiters and Business leaders on a weekly basis. Minimum Qualifications: · 1-2 years’ experience in a research, sourcing, recruiting coordination, human resources, data mining, or sales in a fast-paced, high growth environment. · Previous experience as a recruitment coordinator, HR assistant, or in a related administrative role preferred. · Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. · Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing candidate information and data. · Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other software. · Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with candidates and internal stakeholders. · Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion. · Familiarity with HR and recruitment processes and an understanding of job roles preferred. · High level of professionalism and customer service orientation, with a focus on providing a positive candidate experience
