Job Description

ERM is looking for a Junior Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change Consultant based in Mexico to support the growth of our business in sustainability and climate change projects. As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Assist in conducting greenhouse gas (GHG) assessments and compiling GHG inventories according to international standards (GHG Protocol / ISO 14064). Support the collection and analysis of environmental data, including emissions, air quality, water usage, waste, and energy efficiency. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for client projects. Participate in the development of decarbonization roadmaps and strategies for mitigation and adaptation. Support compliance monitoring with environmental policies, guidelines, and regulations. Stay informed about trends in renewable energy, low-carbon transitions, and Net Zero strategies. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives and deliverables. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in climate change, corporate sustainability, environmental management, or related areas (internships or volunteer experience are acceptable). Basic understanding of GHG calculation methodologies and environmental regulations. Ability to work in a team, with good organizational and time-management skills. Effective communication skills in Spanish and intermediate English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
