Were seeking a future team member for the role ofVice President, Mandate Monitoring Ito join our Mandate Monitoring, Front Office Services team. This role is located In London. What we do: Mandate Monitoring provides complete, independent, and timely pre and / or post trade monitoring of all mandate, prospectus, regulatory and other client in-house investment guidelines. Coding of investment guideline restrictions into Aladdin. Investigation and reporting of investment guidelines breaches. Provides strategic guidance and specialised knowledge to support client objectives. Supports on project related work to improve Mandate Monitoring processes. In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways: Maintain pre and post trade investment guideline restrictions using the Aladdin, JPM TRAC, and ALTO monitoring systems. Tasks will include coding or instruction to third parties, review and testing for new fund launches and amendments. Support the offshore Mandate Monitoring team with daily post trade exception monitoring and other manual monitoring activities. Undertake automated and manual exception monitoring pre and post trade where required. Identify and manage risks and ensure that adequate control processes exist and operate effectively. Provide support to the client on queries relating to pre and post trade investment guidelines and exceptions. Maintenance of stop lists and other restricted lists. Maintenance of procedure documents for team tasks as required. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other BNY teams. Assist with other projects and initiatives. Review and interpret new and amended IMAs / Prospectus to determine if the investment guidelines can be automated. Provide training and advice to other Mandate Monitoring team members on areas of expertise. To be successful in this role, were seeking the following: Experience in Mandate Monitoring/ Investment Compliance/ Portfolio Compliance. Aladdin coding. Candidate would be encouraged to work towards and gain the IMC.
