Secondary Teaching Assistant Wandsworth September 2025 Start Location: Wandsworth, South West London Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only) Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE) Interviews: June/July 2025 Are you a graduate keen to gain secondary school experience before training to teach or pursuing a career in education? A forward-thinking secondary school in Wandsworth is looking for a Secondary Teaching Assistant to support pupils across various subjects. As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, youll work in KS3 and KS4 classrooms and assist students with a range of needs, including those with SEND. This Secondary Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a real difference to their learning and confidence. Key responsibilities: Providing classroom support across a range of subjects Assisting pupils with understanding lesson content Running small group and 1:1 interventions Supporting students with SEND or learning barriers Were looking for: A 2:1 or above in any subject Experience with teenagers or school-aged children A positive attitude and strong communication skills Availability from September 2025 to July 2026 Please note: Applicants must hold a UK undergraduate degree.
