Plant Maintenance Supervisor (Artisan qualification essential)

Key Responsibilities: Supervise the maintenance team (Fitters) to meet operational targets and work unit objectives. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, audits, and housekeeping standards. Maintain plant availability and efficiency at 95% or higher. Implement new projects and meet agreed deliverables. Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Build and sustain effective supplier relationships. Monitor inventory of equipment, consumables, and critical spares. Plan, organize, and monitor day-to-day work activities. Manage performance, conflict, and discipline within the team. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Recognised Artisan Qualification (Millwright or Fitter) Minimum 5 years maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Computer literate Valid drivers license Key Competencies: Strong safety awareness Operational problem solving & decision-making skills Conflict management abilities Independent and flexible work style Resilience under pressure Excellent communication and organizational skills Deadline-driven mindset Salary: CTC (Provident Fund, Medical Insurance or Medical Aid) Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
