Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Radiologic Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift with Call Rotation Hours per Shift: Full-Time Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Licensed by the State Department of Health Certifications: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must-Have: - Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology. - Flexibility to work on-call duty. - Ability to understand age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics. - Maintenance of continuing education credits as required. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Description: Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and the guidance of the radiologist, performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Works effectively with patients and their families. Consults with other departments as appropriate to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities. Demonstrates the ability to manage time effectively. Maintains a safe and clean environment. Practices confidentiality and treats all persons with respect and professional courtesy. Embraces change and supports the mission and vision of the organization. Accepts and provides constructive feedback. Exhibits teamwork and adherence to infection control, fire and safety, disaster, and hazardous waste policies. Demonstrates the competencies for the position and adheres to policies and procedures for the department. Performs other duties as directed. Overnight housing accommodations are provided for out-of-town employees. Holiday coverage may be required.
