Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Taylor, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/01/2025 Duration: 52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Radiologic Tech Limited Limited Medical Rad Tech (LMRT) Days Mon-Fri 8a-5p Job Summary The Radiologic Tech Limited performs Diagnostic Imaging procedures for ambulatory patients in a Physician Office and Clinic Settings. This is done as requested by a physician or other licensed provider and under general supervision of a Radiologist/Clinician. The technologist must explain the procedure to the patient and ensure they are comfortable during the exam. They provide care to patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist. Essential Functions of the Role Performs exams in these areas only after showing skills to a Radiologist/Clinician: skull, chest, spine, extremities, chiropractic, podiatry, and cardiovascular. Performs high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner. Maintains production and quality by following established standards and procedures. Demonstrates an understanding of radiation dose reference levels and monitoring. Takes action if the estimated dose exceeds set reference levels. Takes action when the reference level is exceeded, which may include patient follow-up. Utilizes AIDET to communicate with patients. Identifies patient service needs. Ensures the correct exam is performed on the correct patient. Establishes rapport with patients and others. Instructs and communicates with patients and their family about the test. Assesses the patient's ability to tolerate the exam. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Basic Life Support (BLS) Limited Medical Radiologic Tec (LMRT): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) with specialties in Chest, Extremities, Skull, and Spine. “We are an equal opportunity employer.
