About the Role We are seeking to hire an Automation Managed Service Lead to join the team in Impact Engineering. This role is based on a key customer site in Northern Ireland. This role involves leading and managing a team of cross-functional engineers on a customer site. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of cross functional engineers on a customer site Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Report on key metrics to the Impact Engineering Leadership team Project Manager for all Impact projects on site ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met Act as the primary point of contact for the client, managing day-to-day relationships and addressing service-related concerns. Implement and maintain effective monitoring, reporting, and escalation processes Manage resource allocation to ensure service delivery is maintained without disruption Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency Ensure that best practices, standards, and compliance requirements are adhered to in service delivery Qualifications 15 years’ experience of life sciences with growing levels of responsibility Technical degree in Engineering or related discipline Further post graduate qualifications in project management highly desirable Required Skills Excellent ability for working with people and leading teams Energy, passion and vision to drive growth strategy Technical background in DeltaV DCS and Siemens/Rockwell PLC’s a strong advantage.
