Job Description

Join a leading semiconductor company as a Director of Internal Events ! Our client is looking for a strategic, creative, and hands-on events leader to shape and deliver a world-class internal events programme. This is a unique opportunity to lead a global portfolio of high-impact events that connect and inspire employees across regions, while driving innovation and operational excellence. To deliver a calendar of global events including: Graduate Conference Global Commercial Conference Engineering Conference Quarterly “Big Picture” events Leadership strategy meetings and cultural celebrations. Contract Details Location: Cambridge (Hybrid – once per week on-site) Contract Length: 3 months (with potential to extend or become permanent) Daily rate: Inside IR35 Key Responsibilities Define and evolve our client’s global internal events strategy, integrating AI and process innovation. Lead and develop a UK-based team of five event professionals. Manage a $5M global events budget with strong governance and vendor oversight. Collaborate with senior leaders and internal stakeholders to shape impactful experiences. Ensure end-to-end excellence in event delivery, from concept to post-event evaluation. Key Requirements Experience delivering large-scale internal events, ideally in tech or fast-paced industries. Proven leadership of teams and large budgets. Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Hands-on approach—comfortable stepping into delivery when needed. Experience with AI or digital innovation in events is highly desirable. Friendly, open, and collaborative leadership style. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment. Start Date: ASAP
