Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Strategy and Community Growth: Develop and implement a strategy to grow and engage the alumni network Identify growth opportunities through events, digital platforms, partnerships, and referrals Create and manage a content calendar tailored to alumni interests (e.g, job opportunities, thought leadership, alumni stories, events) Engagement and Communications: Own and manage alumni communication channels (e.g, email newsletters, WhatsApp groups, LinkedIn, alumni portal) Develop initiatives that drive participation such as webinars, networking events, mentorship programmes, and career fairs Manage regular feedback loops to understand alumni needs and tailor initiatives accordingly Platform and Data Management: Manage and maintain the hosted alumni database by coordinating data updates, tracking alumni activity, and ensuring accuracy Work with internal stakeholders to query the database for targeted communications, engagement insights, and reporting Track and report on alumni engagement metrics and KPIs (e.g, registration numbers, event attendance, referrals, email opens) Collaboration and Relationship Building: Partner with internal teams (marketing, product, programmes, and placement teams) to align alumni initiatives with broader Academy goals Establish relationships with key alumni and develop ambassador and peer leadership models Collaborate with employer partners to create job, mentoring, or speaker opportunities for alumni Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, education, HR, or a related field 3 years experience in community management, alumni relations, marketing, or stakeholder engagement Experience working in education, training, edtech, or youth development sectors is a plus Skills and Attributes: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong relationship builder and empathetic listener Creative thinker with a passion for community building and youth empowerment Strong project management and event coordination skills Familiarity with CRM, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment Key KPIs: Growth in alumni registration and engagement on the platform Attendance and participation in alumni events Number of alumni-led initiatives or referrals Engagement metrics across channels (e.g, open rates, social engagement) Feedback and satisfaction scores from alumni
