Job Description

Shipping Administrator (4-Month Contract) Department: Purchasing (Shipping and Imports) Job Purpose: Support ordering, coordination, and costing of imports from foreign suppliers. Minimum Requirements: li]:mt-1.5"> Grade 12 National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Shipping/Customs Certificate 23 years'' experience in a similar shipping/admin role Main Responsibilities: li]:mt-1.5"> Process and place approved orders with foreign suppliers Manage orders and shipping files using ERP and SharePoint Receive, validate, and file shipping documentation and invoices Monitor and update shipment status; follow up on deliveries Process clearing and forwarding documentation Track and update payment schedules and Forward Exchange Contracts (FEC) Assist with month-end procedures, reporting, and customs audits Calculate and document landed costs for each shipment Handle any shipping queries and provide admin support as needed
