Senior Underwriter

Client and Company Liaison, Processing of New Business which includes Quotations, Activation, Compliance Servicing existing client portfolio: Amendments on Policies, Renewals, Reinstatements, Cancellations and other duties as assigned Policy amendments, issuing of new policies and quotations directly on the Santam system Acquiring and comparing quotes from different insurance companies General and commercial enquiries Basic underwriting / following the underwriting guidelines of the insurance company when doing amendments Completing the required compliance documents Client-Services General administration Grade 12 FAIS credits (60 credits on NQF level 4) and/or RE5 will be an advantage Minimum 5 years short-term insurance background Computer literacy Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English Knowledge of Santam Systems Good administration skills Attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise Strong personality with initiative and drive
