1000 Lecturer: Accounting and Auditing FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES Department of accounting and auditing Bloemfontein Campus purpose of the job To develop academic material and lecture in allocated subjects for own and other programmes and to execute appropriate community projects Main tasks Teaching, Learning & Assessment Student Evaluation Research Administration Control and Organisation Community Service Subject field(s) Internal Auditing Nature of appointment: Permanent Academic Minimum salary scale (Total Cost to Company): R 777 297 per annum Note: CUT applies an internal parity model to determine remuneration that complies with the principle of equal pay for work of equal value. Please contact the Recruitment office for more information on the applicable salary scale Minimum Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience A relevant Master's-level degree (i.e. MTech / Masters / NQF 9 or equivalent) AND Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) registered with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) (SA). OR A relevant Honours level degree (i.e. Post Graduate Diploma / NQF 8 or equivalent) AND Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) registered with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) (SA). At least two years teaching/ lecturing/ industry experience relevant to the subject field(s). Desired Qualification, Knowledge and/or Experience Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) (SA). Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Proficient in Arbutus Analytics. In case of Masters degree, evidence of progress towards a Doctorate degree.
