About the role In this position responsible for setting up and driving simulation and design scenarios in the early design phases. Cross-domain integration and optimization play a central role. By applying systems engineering and building reliable models, performance, aerodynamics, weight, cost and behavior of the system are controlled. Experience with multi-domain simulation and translating system requirements into workable models is essential. Your profile: Completed college or university degree in Aerospace Engineering Experience with simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink, StarCCM, ANSYS, Simscape, Amesim or self-developed models Familiarity with Low Observable simulations (such as Radar Cross Section) is a plus Knowledge of UAV, missile or weapon system specific technologies such as sensors, propulsion and data links Understanding software and model quality standards Experience with defense, military or aviation standards Analytically strong, communicative and team-oriented About the organization GKN Fokker Hoogeveen is part of GKN Aerospace, a globally influential player in the aerospace industry.
