Business Development Manager - Enterprise IT Leasing Solutions (JB5497) Location : Sandton, Johannesburg, Gauteng Salary : R50 000 per month Basic (CTC) Target-Linked Bonus Benefits: Provident Fund and Medical Aid Employment Type: Permanent Workplace: In-Office A leader in IT asset leasing and lifecycle management is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their high-performing team . This hunter-style role is ideal for a strategic sales professional who thrives on closing complex , high-value deals with enterprise clients and navigating long sales cycles involving executive-level stakeholders . As the Business Development Manager , youll drive new business acquisition , craft tailored financial and leasing solutions , and engage at a senior level to deliver measurable value. Youll also play a key role in market strategy , product viability , and ongoing solution development . Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent. Bachelors Degree in Business Management , Financial Management , or a related field. 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record in selling IT solutions. Solid understanding of hardware lifecycle management and financing models. Strong consultative sales ability and experience dealing with C-suite decision-makers. Confident in designing , pricing , and closing complex, tailored solutions. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong financial and commercial acumen. Agile , proactive , and resilient with experience navigating sales cycles of 3 months or longer . Excellent presentation , negotiation , and relationship-building skills. Key Responsibilities: Identify and acquire new enterprise clients (typically 500 users ). Manage strategic , consultative sales cycles from prospecting to close. Collaborate with internal pricing , technical , and solution teams to structure competitive offerings. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for solution development or refinement. Contribute to product strategy , including identifying offerings to enhance , expand , or retire. Collaborate across divisions to leverage cross-selling opportunities and align with broader group strategy. Track pipeline activity , billing progress , and report performance against targets and benchmarks. Maintain long-term client relationships through consistent after-sales support and engagement. Ensure ethical , compliant sales practices and proactively identify operational or business risk. Engage with partners , vendors , and industry collaborators to drive solution delivery and innovation. Stay informed on developments in asset finance , leasing , and related IT trends.
