Social Media Intern

We are looking for a social media intern to join our team on a temporary 6-month contract basis, with potential for a full-time position. Candidate Requirements: Relevant background in marketing, media, communications, or a related field A strong grasp of social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest Excellent written English and meticulous attention to detailespecially for captions and scheduling Proficiency with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva)especially for creating stories and Pinterest pins Confidence using scheduling tools like Meta Business Suite, Brandwatch, or similar Familiarity with project management platforms such as Trello Strong time management and a commitment to meeting deadlines A proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and grow Genuine interest in sustainable travel and a passion for the African continent Self-motivation and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a remote team Must have demonstrated backend social media experience (e.g. scheduling, analytics, content tools) Must be based in Hoedspruit area Candidate Responsibilities: Managing comments, direct messages, and mentions across all social media channels Scheduling and publishing content across relevant social platforms Curating and posting 24-hour stories on Instagram and Facebook Assisting in content creationimage sourcing, copywriting, and basic designfor Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest Supporting YouTube channel management and video uploads This is a live out office-based role
