Digital Marketing & Events Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: Digital Marketing Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web Create, schedule, and track content performance on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok Plan and optimise Google Ads campaigns, including remarketing strategies Collaborate with the national marketing team to ensure brand consistency Monitor campaign results using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite) Assist in updating and maintaining website content Event Coordination Plan, coordinate, and attend tertiary open days and other student-focused events in Stellenbosch and surrounding areas Liaise with university contacts, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless event execution Handle event logistics including set-up, promotional materials, and giveaways Capture content at events for use in digital campaigns Deliver post-event feedback and performance reports Skills & Attributes: Creative thinker with a strong sense of visual and written storytelling Meticulous attention to detail Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Clear and confident communication skills Team-oriented yet able to work independently Comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Proactive, solutions-oriented approach Analytical mindset with ability to interpret marketing data and improve performance Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite Canva or Adobe Creative Suite Social media scheduling and engagement tools Basic photography and video editing Google Ads and digital marketing analytics tools Website content management systems Minimum Requirements: Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing and/or event coordination Familiarity with student culture and tertiary education environment preferred Willingness to travel locally and work some weekends Based in or willing to relocate to Stellenbosch Valid drivers licence advantageous Excited to bring your creativity and energy to a purpose-driven environment?
