Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Reception Management (30%) Greet and welcome visitors professionally Manage phone calls, email inboxes, deliveries, and meeting room bookings Maintain a clean and inviting reception area Handle courier arrangements, visitor logs, and stock of reception materials Office Administration (25%) Maintain office and parking records Oversee office supply procurement and facilities support Set up access and workstations for new staff Assist with office event coordination and support Residence Administration (25%) Manage bookings for residence visits and student check-ins Update biometric access systems and control visitor permissions Prepare new student documentation (welcome packs, rules, etc.) Student Support & Billing Assistance (20%) Respond to student queries and support billing statement requests Communicate important notices to students and parents What Were Looking For: Core Competencies: Professional, warm, and approachable presence Strong communication and telephone etiquette Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational habits Able to work well with diverse individuals and manage pressure Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Comfortable working with databases and basic office tech troubleshooting Experience with biometric or access control systems is a plus Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric (or equivalent) 12 years experience in office admin or reception Exposure to student accommodation or hospitality is advantageous Valid drivers license preferred
