The Energy unit provides services to clients worldwide across sectors including hydropower, nuclear, thermal, waste, renewable generation, and transmission & distribution. We support projects from concept and design to construction, operations, decommissioning, or repowering, contributing to the global energy transition. Imagine providing civil design support for high-profile projects like HVDC converter stations, substations, and power tunnels. Join us to work on large-scale projects supporting energy, transmission, power generation, renewable energy, and nuclear power. You will work with a multidisciplinary team on front-end engineering design (FEED) and detailed design of energy projects. As a graduate engineer, your responsibilities include: Designing civil works and buildings (steel or concrete) according to Eurocode or BS standards, using structural software and calculations. Preparing design calculation reports and technical specifications. Creating 2D drawings and 3D BIM models. Reviewing drawings produced by others. Participating in design review meetings. Conducting site visits, surveys, and meetings as needed. Performing additional tasks assigned by project or team leaders. Candidate Specification We seek motivated graduates with a passion for making a difference. To qualify, you should have: Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements). A master's degree obtained or expected after 2023 in civil or structural engineering or a related field. In your application, demonstrate your interest through relevant coursework or experience. We look for candidates with: A methodical problem-solving approach. Initiative and independence in tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
