Travel Ultrasound - $2,284 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Technologist Job Specialty: Ultrasound Tech Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week Experience: Minimum five years of experience as a Mammography Technologist required. Two years of experience as a Mammography Lead preferred. License: Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)(M) license required. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. Must-Have: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology. BS or MS in Healthcare preferred. Job Description: - Provide diagnostic mammography services under the direction of the Mammography Supervisor or Manager. - Demonstrate knowledge and ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g., The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR). - Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times. - Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Relate effectively to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as interact well with the public. - Demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines. - Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition. - Perform examinations in a proficient, courteous, and professional manner to favorably promote the services offered. - Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
