Welder Fabricator

Welder Fabricator £18.00 per hour plus benefits and overtime available at higher rates. We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our client's well-established and respected engineering manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves building a range of high-quality equipment for both UK and export clients. Based in the production facility, this is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to work on varied projects using stainless steel and advanced welding techniques. Main Responsibilities for the Welder Fabricator: * Welding and fabricating stainless steel components (1.0mm – 12mm thickness) * Working with both TIG and Synergic MIG welding processes * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Fabrication using sheet-metal machinery and tools * Understanding tolerances and bend allowances * Working in the production facility or on-site as required * Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, production, and inspection procedures Skills/Experience for the Welder Fabricator: * Experience in welding and fabrication, especially with stainless steel * Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques * Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances * Ability to use fabrication and sheet-metal machinery * Team player with good communication skills * City & Guilds qualifications in Welding and Fabrication or completed apprenticeship in an engineering environment (advantageous) Hours of work for the Welder Fabricator: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (early finish on a Friday) Benefits for the Welder Fabricator: Annual bonus based on company performance 20 days holiday bank holidays (rising to 26 with service) Life assurance Sick pay scheme Pension scheme Subsidised drinks and snacks from vending machines Staff meals/events Workwear provided Based near St Neots.
