Graduate Quantity Surveyor

An award winning, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Reading. Working across a variety of sectors, their cost management team provide a comprehensive range of services from cost planning and procurement through to post contract and employers agent services, to support clients through the whole project life cycle. Role & Responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor: * Pre and post contract work * Advise on costs involved in building projects * Evaluation of costs and advise on alternatives * Evaluation of tenders * Prepare bills of quantities * Prepare final accounts Skills & Experience of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor: * Graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying * The ambition to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor * Accurate numeracy skills and a methodical approach to working * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Salary & Benefits * £25K - £40K (doe) * Structured APC support * Contributory pension scheme * Private medical * Life assurance * Income protection insurance
