Site Manager – Landmark Heritage Project | Cardiff | £Competitive Benefits Permanent | Main Contractor | High-Profile Grade I Refurbishment Are you an experienced Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality projects? We’re working with a well-established and highly respected main building contractor in Cardiff who is seeking a Site Manager to join their team on a flagship heritage refurbishment scheme. This is a permanent opportunity to play a key role on a Grade I listed project for a major client. You’ll be reporting to an experienced Lead Project Manager and will be part of a collaborative, professional team that prides itself on delivering excellence. The Role: * Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams * Monitor site progress, maintain records and report regularly to the PM * Support the team in maintaining excellent client relationships What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience as a Site Manager in a main contractor environment * Strong organisational and leadership skills * Solid IT proficiency – comfortable with digital reporting tools, drawings, and project software * A steady career history and commitment to quality * Heritage/Grade I refurbishment experience is advantageous but not essential – a sharp eye for detail and a respectful approach to working on historic structures is key
