Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Polysomnographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/03/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Sleep Technologist (Sleep Tech) Location: Saranac Lake, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Shift Type: 12-Hour Night Shifts | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Job Description: Perform and monitor overnight polysomnographic (sleep) studies Prepare patients for procedures, explain protocols, and ensure comfort Apply electrodes and sensors to record physiological data Monitor data and troubleshoot technical issues during sleep studies Score and document sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, and cardiac data Ensure proper documentation and comply with facility protocols Maintain a safe and clean working environment Collaborate with physicians and other sleep professionals to deliver accurate diagnostics Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
