Job Description Job Description Description: Overview: Cal-Tex Electric is looking to hire Apprentice Electricians at our Sioux Falls Branch! We are looking for each to host commercial, residential, and industrial experience. We are looking for team members to join us immediately. Duties: Assist journeyman electrician with installing wiring, equipment, appliances and fixtures. Free electrical apprenticeship classes held in our own training facility Requirements: Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop and/or drive for long periods of time Capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs Must be able to work in the elements depending on the project Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Electrical : 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Registered Unlicensed Electrician’s Card or obtain during hiring
