Our client is a multidisciplinary environmental consultancy based in Manchester delivering specialist services in ecology, arboriculture, landscape architecture, and green infrastructure, are hiring for a Assistant Project Coordinator to come onboard. With a strong focus on biodiversity net gain, sustainable urban design, and innovative landscape planning, they work across a wide portfolio of development and infrastructure projects nationwide. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across client communications, proposal coordination, scheduling, and financial tracking. Project coordinator Job Overview Support the successful delivery of live projects by coordinating resources, tasks, and communications across internal teams Maintain accurate project records and CRM logs, ensuring all updates are captured clearly and promptly Assist with the preparation of fee proposals and appointment documents under the direction of senior colleagues Liaise with clients via email and telephone, helping to schedule meetings, organise site visits, and ensure smooth project progression Help monitor financials by tracking budgets, purchase orders, and internal project milestones Attend and minute internal meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are logged and completed Play an active role in improving internal project workflows and cross-team coordination Project coordinator Job Requirements Degree qualified in Business Studies, Project Management, or a related field (essential) Ability to manage multiple tasks across several projects simultaneously Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills Confident working with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally A positive, proactive attitude to solving problems and supporting the wider team Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook Interest in sustainability, working in an environmental consultancy, and multi-disciplinary design work Project coordinator Salary & Benefits Salary circa £25,000 24 days holiday, rising to 30 with service Hybrid working model, with flexibility dependent on project needs Paid professional membership (1 annually) Access to company fleet vehicles Cycle to Work and Technology schemes Workplace pension scheme Discount at local leisure centre Free annual eye tests Supportive, friendly office culture focused on long-term career progression Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
