Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Kingston Barnes are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance or C&I Technician to join our client in the Runcorn area! Responsibilities To carry out pre planned maintenance inspections as defined by site maintenance plans in a safe and effective manner To plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, ensuring that tools, parts and materials are available and production downtime is minimised whilst also upholding and exceeding standards of safety ensuring that all work areas are kept tidy by adopting a clean as you go approach at all times Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achieved safely, economically and within the environmental limits of the plant. Work alongside other functions as necessary, assisting with supervision of contractors. Carry out fault diagnostics and rectifying as required. Management of calibration records and implementation of instrument calibrations. Requirements HNC or ONC in Electrical engineering is highly desirable but not essential Electrical apprenticeship/qualifications are essential A background in engineering, manufacturing, heavy engineering, energy from waste or similar Hours Monday - Friday (days only) Ifyou would like to hear more about this opportunity then please get in touch !
