Job Title: Grade B Clinical Negligence Solicitor Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Location: Manchester (Hybrid working available) An established and forward-thinking law firm in Manchester is looking to recruit a Grade B Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 3–5 years' PQE who is passionate about delivering justice for clients affected by medical negligence. About the Role You’ll manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, including complex and high-value claims. You’ll work in a supportive, collaborative team environment that values integrity, technical skill, and client care. What You’ll Be Doing Handling a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from instruction through to settlement or trial Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including letters of claim and expert instructions Liaising with clients, medical experts, and counsel Contributing to team discussions, training, and development Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining compliance with firm procedures What We’re Looking For Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales Experience with claims up to £250,000 Grade B status (typically 3–8 years’ PQE) with solid experience in clinical negligence A strong track record of managing files independently Excellent client-handling skills and a compassionate approach Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Desire to grow within a busy and well-regarded team What’s On Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid working 2 days office based Real progression prospects and ongoing support A dynamic and people-focused work culture The chance to make a meaningful impact for vulnerable clients
