Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: 2 years in Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab preferred License: Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience in Cardiac Invasive Cath Lab Description: Position is in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The individual will assist the physician in the scrub role during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Flu vaccination is required for all travelers during the specified time frame. Preferred certifications include vascular experience. The unit has 3 procedure rooms with a patient ratio of 1 tech per procedure room. Equipment utilized includes Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment. The EMR system in use is EPIC. The facility has earned an impressive safety grade and has a long history of compassionate medical care. This role may require weekend and weeknight call requirements. The dress code is blue hospital scrubs, which will be provided. Additional activities in the area include sightseeing, entertainment districts, and a rich dining scene.
