Audit Assistant

Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a long-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Perth to recruit an Audit Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and professional team offering structured development and hands-on audit experience across a varied client base. On a daily basis your responsibilities will include: Assisting with on-site and remote audits for a diverse portfolio of clients. Preparing working papers and supporting documentation. Supporting senior auditors with fieldwork and testing procedures. Identifying areas of risk and helping ensure compliance with relevant standards. Liaising with clients to request and verify financial information. Using software such as CCH, Excel, and other practice tools. Contributing to audit reports and management letters. This role would suit someone with previous audit experience within a practice environment or a graduate with strong analytical skills looking to build their career in audit. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. A competitive salary in the region of £25,000 to £30,000 is on offer depending on experience, along with study support for a professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent), and the chance to progress within a reputable local firm.
