️ Health & Safety Advisor Location: Field-based (Surrey, Fleet, Camberley, Brighton & surrounding areas) Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE £4,000 Car Allowance Mileage Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours/week, Mon–Fri) Driving Licence: Essential About the Role We’re looking for a qualified Health & Safety professional to support our nurseries across the South of the UK. You’ll help drive a positive safety culture, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement across multiple sites. ✅ Key Responsibilities Provide expert H&S support to nurseries and support offices Conduct site visits, audits, and incident investigations Support with fire safety, DSE assessments, and risk management Deliver coaching, training, and guidance to managers and teams Collaborate with stakeholders to embed best practices What We’re Looking For NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) Experience in a similar H&S role (childcare, education, or retail preferred) Knowledge of fire safety, DSE, COSHH, and risk assessments Strong communication and coaching skills Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays ⭐ Desirable GRAD IOSH or working towards Fire Safety and DSE Assessor experience Level 2 Food Safety Hygiene An enhanced DBS is required for this role.
