Knit Garment Technologist

Elite have partnered with a gorgeous contemporary womenswear brand, who are seeking a Knitwear Garment Technologist to join the team. This role is responsible for the development of all Knit & Jersey product, ensuring that each product conveys the designer’s vision, while meeting all fit and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage fit sessions and ensure consistent garment fit across styles Create and maintain tech packs, size specs, and grading Liaise with global suppliers on construction, materials, and finishes Approve samples and monitor quality from development through to production Conduct testing for yarns, shrinkage, and durability Support on-time delivery through critical path tracking Requirements 3 years' experience in knitwear garment technology Strong knowledge of yarns, gauges, stitch structures, and knitwear construction Experience working with offshore factories Proficiency in garment tech software (e.g., Illustrator, PLM, Excel) Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
