Primary Teaching Assistant Richmond September 2025 Start Location: Richmond, South West London Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only) Pay: £444.00 per week (PAYE) Interviews: June/July 2025 Are you a graduate interested in a teaching career and looking for valuable experience in a primary school? A lovely school in Richmond is looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 from September. This Primary Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to build their classroom confidence before teacher training or further study. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, youll help the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom routines, and one-to-one or small group support. Youll support pupils with reading, writing, maths and general engagement. Key responsibilities: Supporting pupils in KS1 or KS2 with core subjects Helping with reading groups, phonics and handwriting Assisting with behaviour and classroom organisation Working closely with teachers and SEND staff Were looking for: A 2:1 or above in any subject Experience with children in schools, clubs or tutoring Good communication and enthusiasm for learning Availability from September 2025 to July 2026 Please note: Applicants must hold a UK undergraduate degree.
