Graduate Elec Design Engineer

The client is an established and successful manufacturer test machinery and equipment. Due to growth and success they are seeking to recruit a Graduate / Junior Electrical Design Engineer for their operations in Worcester. Salary - £24,000 to £30,000 per annum. The main responsibility of the Electrical Design Engineer is to produce electrical schematic / plans to a high standard. Responsibilities and duties are as follows; Creation of drawings and creation of electrical schematic / layouts. Use ERP to build BOM's and release work orders from CAD drawings. Support the engineering department with drawings, modelling and administration work. Completion of ECR's and updates to systems. Shadowing of senior engineers in meetings. Experience and qualifications for the role are as follows; Good understanding of CAD software (preferably Eplan). Some experience in a electrical technical discipline or degree qualified. Excellent analytical skills. Good understanding of basic engineering principles. High attention to detail. Development of design concepts and schematics. Technical report writing skills. Good team player and a "can do" attitude. The company are based in Worcester so is commutable from Kidderminster, Droitwich, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Evesham, Tewkesbury.
